"It's mostly that my work at SpaceX and Tesla requires me to be primarily in Texas or traveling overseas and her work is primarily in LA," Mr. Musk told Page Six, "She's staying with me now and Baby X is in the adjacent room."
The couple was last seen together at this year's Met Gala, but they didn't walk the red carpet together, they just hung out together inside and attended a party afterward. They brought their dog who had his own security and chauffeur.

Grimes and Elon began their relationship in 2018, and they met after he responded to her joke on Twitter. Last May, they had a baby they named creatively X Æ A-Xii. The name caused a real storm on social media, but at the same time, the popularity of the couple began to decline.
Many of Grimes's fans resented her relationship with the multibillionaire, especially after he voiced his views on vaccination and the coronavirus pandemic. Namely, at the beginning of the pandemic, Elon did not like the fact that he had to be quarantined and therefore could not work, so he constantly criticized the decisions of the US government and advocated that the quarantine be lifted, citing unverified sources.
It seems that even Grimes was not too proud of her partner's behavior, and Musk recently revealed that it is his actions made his girlfriend terribly angry.
Elon and Grimes don’t usually like to share things from private life with the public. Their shared photos are practically non-existent unless the photographers accidentally catch them together at an event.
