Gaby Espino is finally back on TV
The Venezuelan actress is part of the star cast of the authorized series on the life of Vicente Fernández.
Gaby Espino was seen last year on Telemundo's screen as the antagonist of the telenovela La Suerte de Loli /Loli's luck. Since then, the Venezuelan actress had stayed away from television. Until now.
The actress and host, who exceeds 12 million followers on the social network Instagram, will have outstanding participation in El Rey, Vicente Fernández / The Idol of the People, the authorized series on the life of the world idol of ranchera music that will premiere in Colombia this Wednesday, August 3 through Caracol Television.
Espino, who recorded the series in Mexico, plays Verónica Landín, the eternal rival of 'El charro', "a woman who represents the extremes to which a bad journalist is willing to go to obtain recognition and fame." Verónica accompanies Vicente in two stages of his life: that of the young man who makes his way through the artistic world, and that of the family man who after years and effort has achieved a place in the world of fame. She is a woman who is capable of anything for a first. She is insightful, a good speaker, attractive, and incisive, and she also knows that she is powerful, that the place she has achieved on television gives her status, one that she not only wants to preserve but also to continue to increase.

Unlike the one recently broadcast by Univision and starring Pablo Montero, this series produced by Caracol Televisión has the support of Vicente Fernández's family, who on this occasion is played in his adult stage by Jaime Camil.
"It is an immeasurable responsibility, an emotion, and great happiness because it is the maximum exponent of ranchera music in the whole world. Caracol Televisión has been working on this project, together with the Fernández family, for more than two years, having absolute authorization, always respecting the family's wishes about how Vicente, his life, and career will be interpreted," Camil said.
"There are many stories that the family told Caracol Television that nobody knows about Vicente and that they will now be able to see on the screen. It is a series that people are going to enjoy very much, they are going to cry, they are going to fall in love and they are going to sing all the songs with us, in addition, they will be able to discover that human side of Vicente Fernández and I hope that the public receives this series with the same affection, respect, and love with which we did it".
