Jimmy Fallon And Drew Barrymore's Friendship
Drew Barrymore and Jimmy Fallon are undeniably excellent friends, but their families are even more entwined than they appear!
On The Drew Barrymore Show, the late-night host paid a visit to the morning show host, and the program was filled with everything from laughter to tears.
Jimmy's first impression of the star, the length of their friendship, and a horrifying game in which the two had to comically face their biggest culinary phobias if they lost a round of trivia were among the topics discussed.
They first met in 2005, when she was hosting Saturday Night Live and he, along with Tina Fey, was part of the show's famed Weekend Update section. They went on to feature in the romantic comedy Fever Pitch the next year, but it wasn't the only thing that resulted from their encounter.
They instantly explained how close the two are as soon as Jimmy sat down next to Drew on the famous morning program, with the actress declaring "he's true family to me" shortly before he stepped in.
Drew was and still is great friends with his now-wife, Nancy Juvonen, long before the late-night host met either of them.
When her guest arrived on the show, the celebrity stated that she dared Nancy, who is seven years her senior, to create a production business with her when she was only 19.
Flower Films, which produced classic films such as 50 First Dates, Donnie Darko, Never Been Kissed, and, of course, Charlie's Angels, is still owned by them today.
While the mom-of-two didn't introduce the host to his wife until 10 years later, the three have been great friends ever since, and the Santa Clarita Diet actress added that Nancy is one of her girls' godmothers.
The two continued to talk about how they met and became best friends, and Jimmy revealed that he had recently been interviewed about Drew, and when asked what his first impression of her was, he endearingly described it as "meeting the Statue of Liberty," looking at her and saying, "You're the one and only Drew Barrymore."
American actress Drew Barrymore became famous for her role in the film ‘ET’ when she was only seven years old but she very quickly fell into the hell of addiction.
