JLo presented a new album and a film about herself!
"This Is Me…Now" is a new story about her and this is a kind of continuation of the music album "This Is Me…Then" from 2002.
In 2002, Jennifer Lopez delighted us with her third studio album, "This Is Me...Then", which was mainly, if not entirely, inspired by her love affair with Ben Affleck. 22 years later, a sequel will be released with the simple name "This Is Me...Now", in which, of course, the story is again about Affleck. Yesterday, Lopez presented on social networks the trailer for her new studio album, as well as an intimate film about her, also called "This Is Me...Now", which will be available on Prime Video streaming, which is about the goal that she has been striving for all her life: to find true love.
Both the album and the film are such an intimate, fantastic story brought to us by Lopez herself. The music album will include songs such as To Be Yours, Mad in Love, Greatest Love Story Never Told, and Dear Ben Pt. II – continuation of the song from the album from 2002. There is also Midnight Train to Vegas which very clearly refers to Bennifer's wedding last summer. The first single from the new album is planned for January 10, 2024, and it is about the song Can't Get Enough .
At the same time with the release of the album, the singer will also release the film " This Is Me...Now" " on Prime Video. This project is described as "an intimate, fantastic and narrative reflection of Lopez's journey in search of love ", inspired by the album of the same name. Under the direction of Dave Meyers, the film will be " a cinematic experience that redefines the genre ", and " an ode to the eternal belief in fairy-tale endings ". Her husband, Ben Affleck, is one of the screenwriters along with Jennifer (his strong influence on the original 2002 album "This Is Me...Then" needs no further explanation).
Jennifer Lopez has always been a woman capable of everything - she is a music star, performer, actress, and entrepreneur. The music album "This Is Me…Now" will be released on February 16, 2024, just after Valentine's Day to celebrate true love, and on the same date the movie of the same name will be available for streaming. The film was directed by Dave Meyers based on a screenplay written by Lopez, Affleck and Matt Walton, and based on a story by Lopez, Meyers, and Chris Shafer .
