As she admitted, she was desperate when she didn't get a role in the movie "Knives out 2", which will appear later this year on Netflix. The role that Kaley really wanted, went to her colleague Kate Hudson!
“I was convinced that the role was mine. Kate Hudson eventually got it. But I was so sure that I had already seen how I pack my bags and go to Greece. And then I didn't get it. I was desperate!” - says the actress and continues:
“By the way, I am never desperate when it comes to roles. I did everything I needed to and I didn’t get it. I cried literally all night. But the role now belongs to Kate, and she is great.”
Although she did not get this role, only a day later, she received an offer for a romantic comedy in which she will play along with Pete Davidson, Kim Kardashian's boyfriend. However, she was not interested in this role at first.
“They called me and said they had an interesting scenario. I told them that I didn't want to read anything and that no one wanted me, that I didn't know anything. However, they made me read it, Pete had already got the role and I decided to do it. When I finished, I thought ‘This is magical’! And I would never have gotten it if I had been given a role that made me desperate” - the actress concluded.
We are happy she got this opportunity, and we are eagerly waiting to see how Kaley and Pete will do this together! Since we know they are both very funny, it's probably gonna be great!
