Stallone called out the producer of 'Rocky'

Sylvester Stallone is not too happy with Rocky producer Irwin Winkler and his sons, Charles and David, because of their involvement in the "Rocky" spin-off called "Drago". This spin-off father and sons are reportedly making without him, writes Daily Mail. The realization puts the character from the movie "Rocky IV" in the foreground, the Soviet boxer Ivan Drago, who was then played by Dolph Lundgren.

' Another heartbreaking thing… I just found this out… Once again Irvin Winkler, this pathetic 94-year-old PRODUCER and HIS CHILDREN, Charles and David, once again clean the bones of another wonderful character I created. I apologize to the fans, I never wanted the Rocky characters to be exploited by these parasites… By the way, I used to have nothing but respect for Dolph, but he never told me what was going on behind my back with the character I created for him!! ! TRUE FRIENDS are more precious than gold,' wrote Stallone on his Instagram account.

After him, Dolph Lundgren also took to Instagram and clarified the situation.' Let's just correct everything regarding the possible spinoff of the movie "Drago". No approved script, no deal, no director and I personally had the impression that my friend Sly Stallone was involved as a producer or even as an actor. Last week there was a "leak" (information) in the press. I'm in contact with Mr. Balboa - just so all the fans can relax... Here you go, ' wrote Dolph on Instagram.

Recall, Sylvester Stallone criticized film producer Irwin Winkler for claiming the copyright of the films 'Rocky' and 'Creed'.'A very flattering portrayal of Rocky and Creed producer Irwin Winkler... After Irwin had control of Rocky for 47 years and now Creed, I would really like to have what's left of my rights back before he only passes it on to his children,' the actor wrote.'I believe it would be a fair move,' concluded Sylvester Stallone.
