The country singer had a jam-packed weekend! Miranda Lambert informed her fans ahead of the Grammy Awards that she will be absent from the show, and the reason for her absence has already been disclosed. On Monday, the country singer turned to Instagram to share photos from a special event she attended on Sunday night.The award-winning singer threw a lavish birthday party for a few of her closest friends at her Nashville restaurant, Casa Rosa. The celebration was held at a Tex-Mex bar and cantina, and it appeared like everyone had a good time.
Miranda commented alongside photographs and video from the night: "Yesterday, we celebrated the birthdays of some very dear people @casarosanashville! The @nashvillecoverband put on a fantastic performance! Thank you for allowing me to saaang one with you. Tommy, Julia, and April, I hope you all had a wonderful birthday." Fans reacted positively to the image, with one saying, "This seems like so much fun,". The country singer earlier stated in an interview with ABC Audio that she would be unable to attend the Grammys this year due to scheduling conflicts.
"I'm not getting to go again," she stated, explaining that the ceremony falls in the middle of her Bandwagon Tour with Little Big Town's pre-production. It also comes at a time when she's gearing up for the release of Palomino, her next album, which is set to debut on April 29, 2022. "So, with the record coming out and everything, I'm hammered this month," she continued. Her partners on The Marfa Tapes, Jon Randall and Jack Ingram, will, nonetheless, be in attendance. Miranda admitted that she didn't feel great about missing out on the greatest night in music, despite the fact that she stated they'd be "supporting the home team." "This morning, we were on a group text. I'm suffering from FOMO."
