NEW: Romantic comedy "Maybe I Do"

We don't expect too much innovation and complexity from romantic comedies, but we are looking for charismatic characters and good fun, and the new movie "Maybe I Do" seems to be a great opportunity for that.

It is a comedy starring Emma Roberts and Luke Bracey. They represent a couple who, after recent disagreements, still decide to work on their relationship. They decided to invite their parents to meet each other before taking the next step.

At the center of this movie are Michelle ( Emma Roberts ) and Allen ( Luke Bracey ), whose romantic relationship has reached the stage of wedding planning, so the couple decides to introduce each other's parents. To everyone's surprise, the parents know each other very well, and they will start a discussion about marriage.

The director and screenplay is written by Michael Jacobs. His production company was nominated for an Oscar for the biographical drama Quiz in 1994, and he is the creator of the series "Boy Meets the World and Girl Meets the World". The other roles are Susan Sarandon, Diane Keaton, Richard Gere, and William H. Macy who play the parents of the story's protagonists.

Then veterans Diane KeatonSusan SarandonRichard Gere and William H. Macy enter the scene. They also play parents who, it turns out, already know each other from before and will not make it any easier for the children to unravel the situation. Of course, secrets are revealed and nothing goes according to plan.

It seems that the story will not bring anything that has not already been seen, but that the charm radiates from every frame, especially the one in which there are more experienced colleagues. The producers are Vincent Newman and Scott Mednick.

The good news is that "Maybe I Do" is coming soon, or rather you only have to wait until January 27, 2023.
