Plans for Queen Elizabeth's funeral leaked : They include VIP coffin-viewing tickets

Unlike the relatively modest ceremony that followed the death of Prince Phillip this year, the death of Queen Elizabeth will trigger an extremely complex operation, Unilad reports.

Namely, documents have been leaked that provide insight into new plans for the Queen's funeral. The code name of this security plan is 'Operation London Bridge' and according to it, the Queen's funeral will reportedly take place 10 days after her death. That day will not be declared a national holiday but employers will be told to decide for themselves whether to give their employees a day off.

In the hours immediately following the Queen’s death, all government and royal websites and social media accounts will change to display a black banner. Government officials will be instructed not to publish anything unless approved by the head of communications.

The Queen's coffin in the procession will then be transported from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Palace, where it will be placed for three days. It will be open to visitors 23 hours a day, and VIPs wishing to view the coffin will reportedly receive tickets with a specific time to visit.

However, according to Politico, who received the aforementioned documents, the government has expressed concern about whether they will be able to cope with the complexity of the operation.
