Princess Beatrice revealed the name of her daughter, and the announcement violated the royal tradition

With the publication of a photo with the baby's footprint, Edoardo dedicated touching words to his daughter, revealing that they had given the little one the name Sienna Elizabeth.

'Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi. Our life together has just begun and I can't wait to see all the amazing things that await us', wrote Edoardo and revealing the name of their daughter showed that in addition to the Italian name, they paid tribute to Princess Beatrice's grandmother, Queen Elizabeth.

‘I feel so much gratitude and love for my amazing wife, baby Sienna, and Wolfie. These are the days I never want to forget. A friend said to me a sweetest saying these days - that with each child a whole new heart grows', wrote Edoardo and thanked the midwife and the excellent team at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

The same photo of the baby’s footprint was later posted on the royal family’s official social media pages, in violation of Princess Beatrice’s royal tradition of posting the baby’s photo.

'Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have given their daughter the name Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi,' the royal family posted on Instagram, adding a statement from the couple with barefoot emoticons.
