Quentin Tarantino has decided the best movie ever made

Quentin Tarantino, an eccentric film director, screenwriter, and actor, known for the unsurpassed films "Pulp Fiction" and "Kill Bill" as well as other achievements, was a guest on the ReelBlend Podcast where he talked about the film industry.

On that occasion, he promoted his project, which he started with his long-time friend and collaborator Roger Avary, in which they watch original VHS tapes from the archives of the video club where they worked together more than 30 years ago in their podcast.

When you find yourself in the company of Tarantino, the subject of the best movie of all time is inevitable. In his opinion, the best movie of all time is "Jaws" by Steven Spielberg. This film, shot in 1975, was among Spielberg's first blockbusters, won three Oscars, and lost the nomination for best film that year to "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest."

Spielberg's masterful direction seems to be reason enough for Tarantino to declare this film the best of all time. “I think Jaws is the greatest movie ever made. Maybe not the greatest film. But it’s the greatest movie ever made. And then there are other movies that can get in its rarefied air. But as far as a movie, there’s no making it better than Jaws. There’s no ‘better’ than Jaws. It is the best movie ever made.”

After directing, acting, and writing, the famous Quentin Tarantino has found a new, rather original interest. Namely, the famous director started a podcast with his long-time friend and collaborator Roger Avary, in which we will follow how they watch the original VHS tapes from the archives of the video club where they worked together more than 30 years ago. It's called simply - The Video Archives Podcast.

They will talk about movies like "Dark Star", "Moonraker", "Demonoid", "Messenger of Death", "Piranha" and many other strange B production titles. The video archive had close to 8,000 VHS tapes and DVDs, which Tarantino bought in 1995 when he and Avary won the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for "Pulp Fiction".
