Review of the Logitech F710 Wireless Controller

The Logitech F710 Wireless Controller is the series' crowning achievement, and we will discuss why the Logitech F710 Wireless Controller is a very fine controller and why you might appreciate it as well later in this post.

The controller is remarkably similar to the DualShock controller from the PlayStation. The layout of the keys is identical to that of the PlayStation Three DualShock controller. The keys' colors and letters are reminiscent of Xbox controllers.

The controller is a cross between a PlayStation Dualshock controller and an Xbox One controller. The Logitech F710 comes in a foldable, thermo-sealed packaging. The company's new packaging style of a black backdrop with white and blue accents is clearly visible.

The Logitech F710 uses the Dual Shock II control and button configuration, allowing the computer to recognize it as an Xbox 360 controller. Many PlayStation gamers will want to acquire this one as well, if for nothing else than to have a spare, but Xbox 360 fans will have to get used to the position of the mushrooms as well as the other keys.

Another important consideration is that the Logitech F710 is a thick gamepad, akin to the original Dual Shock controller from the PSX or PSOne era. The enormous batteries that you have to use with it add to the proportions.

The answer was still good at a distance of around 2 meters from the receiver. Moving the receiver to the back was not on my list of best practices, however, the Logitech F710 still had good reception even with the internal WIFI antenna inserted.

Some battle aficionados may be concerned about the gamepad's response time, which is understandable. The latency is evident at 2 meters or more, but at less than a meter, it is nearly non-existent and provides solid performance for games that require a quick response, such as Tekken-style bouts.

When it comes to the comfort of use, the experience should vary from person to person. The handle is attractively constructed, and aficionados of Dual Shock Playstation controllers will feel at home, while the look of the keys, evocative of the Xbox 360, should be simple to adjust for any gamer.

The battery life on this controller is adequate but not ideal. This is especially important for individuals who play online multiplayer games. The batteries still last after more than 200 hours of gaming, which is a big benefit.

However, because this is a wireless controller, the batteries will only be depleted once, which is always a disadvantage when comparing wired and wireless controllers.

The Logitech F710 is a fully functional gamepad that is compatible with a wide range of games and has complete support for various home models as well as a wireless connection.

Those who enjoy wireless controllers but do not wish to pay a lot of money will be pleased with this model. The Logitech F710 is also OTG (On the Go) compatible with the majority of contemporary Android devices.

Finally, the Logitech F710 is an excellent gamepad with broad game and platform compatibility. Its balanced, conventional style is accentuated further by more than only fantastic ergonomics, strong build quality, and excellent performance and mushroom sensitivity, which is always a plus.
