Sony is looking for a PC director
Sony reportedly intends to release more Playstation titles for PC in the future. At least, that's what a job advertising for the new position of PC Director, who will be in charge of the global marketing of PC games, says.
Are PC gamers in for a golden age?
If we were to base our decision on a new job advertisement at Sony, the response would have to be a resounding yes. Because the corporation is currently looking for a so-called PC director who will oversee global sales and future PC collaborations. Further ports of Playstation-exclusive games like God of War or Horizon should thus be almost certain.
PC as a chance to compete with Microsoft
In the job description, Sony explains the PC Director's function as follows: "The successful candidate will be in charge of the strategy and commercial activities within the global sales channels, as well as ensuring the optimal growth of PC sales […] and future opportunities. Identify commercial growth sectors and alliances."
As a result, Sony clearly wishes to strengthen its position in the PC game market. In light of Microsoft's expanding dominance, many are already hopeful that Sony may consider releasing Playstation games on the PC at the same time.
Individual titles such as God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, Days Gone, and Death Stranding have previously been released as PC ports sometime after the Playstation release.
The fact that these versions were well accepted by the PC community and became a best-seller should be enough to persuade Sony that the PC is a viable platform for its own unique products. Given the still-difficult supply situation for PS5 consoles, a simultaneous release of PS titles on PC could result in much higher sales of new games.
This is how you maximize your chance of being able to buy a PS5 from Amazon
If you want to purchase a PlayStation 5 from Amazon tomorrow, you must be a member of Amazon Prime if the well-known Prime notice shows. This has been the case for a long time, and there is no indication that Amazon will change its attitude toward the next PS5 release. If you are not yet an Amazon Prime member, you can sign up for one by visiting the Prime offer page.
The PS5 sales window normally opens between 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., as soon as the Playstation 5 may be ordered from Amazon. The stock of PS5 consoles is frequently gone within 15 to 30 minutes, and in some cases within a few minutes.
According to past experience, PS5 contingents at Amazon are relatively significant, and often between 10,000 and 20,000 Playstation 5s can be purchased as part of a sales push.
However, demand remains unabated. The ideal thing to do is instantly add the desired PS5 offer to your shopping list so that you can strike as soon as the PS5 is available for purchase from Amazon.
Now is the moment to be patient and not allow the shop's error notifications to deter you from making a purchase. The AWS servers may become overloaded as a result of the rush to the Amazon store. We're crossing our fingers!
