SOON: Disney's animated film "Wish"

Walt Disney Animation Studios has released a new trailer and poster for the upcoming animated film "Wish". The directors are Chris Buck (Frozen) and Fawn Veerasunthorn (Raya and the Last Dragon), while the script is written by Buck, Jennifer Lee (Frozen, Frozen 2) and Allison Moore (Night Sky, Manhunt).

The new trailer reveals more about the magical kingdom of Rosas ruled by King Magnifico, which is built on the wishes and hopes of people. The king has the ability to fulfill the wishes of his people, and Asha works for him as an apprentice, who eventually learns that the king will not fulfill most of the kingdom's wishes. After a disagreement with the king, Asha herself made a wish for a star. This leads to her meeting Star, who is a small cosmic ball of boundless energy. After learning what happened, the king tells everyone that Asha is a traitor, forcing her to flee.

The main characters were voiced by: Ariana DeBose as Asha, Chris Pine as King Magnifico, Alan Tudyk as Ash's favorite goat Valentino, Angelique Cabral as Queen Amaya, Victor Garber as Ash's grandfather Sabino, Natasha Rothwell as Ash's mother Sakina. 

Besides them, there is Ash's group of confidants, protectors and friends: Jennifer Kumiyama as Ash's best friend Dahlia, who is an experienced baker and the unofficial leader of their group; Evan Peters as Simon, a strong guy with a big heart and an even bigger yawn; Harvey Guillén as Gabo, who may be cynical but has a heart of gold; Ramy Youssef as Safi, who suffers from allergies; Niko Vargas as Asha's ever-smiling friend Hal; Della Saba as the seemingly shy teenager Bazeema, who is full of surprises and Jon Rudnitsky as Asha's rosy-cheeked friend Dario.

Wish will arrive in theaters on November 22, while it will arrive on the Disney Plus platform in 2024.
