"Squid game" director on season 2: "You leave us no choice"
Hwang Dong-Hyuk, the creator of the mega-popular Korean series "Squid Game", revealed that, due to the great interest, the second season will be filmed. The director and screenwriter for the American media spoke about its historic success on the Netflix platform.
Although in some previous interviews, director Hwang Dong-Hyuk said that there is nothing concrete except some plans for filming the second season, now he has officially confirmed it.

“There’s been so much pressure, so much demand and so much love for a second season," he said. "So I almost feel like you leave us no choice! But I will say there will indeed be a second season."

Recall, director Hwang Dong Huck previously gave an interview to the Guardian in which he spoke about the undeniable success of the series. Even then, he made it known that they were thinking about filming the sequel and that he would talk to Netflix about it.
"There is also a film that I want to make. I have to think carefully about what I will do first," he said.
