People's anger did not subside even when it was learned that he was expecting another child with Katherine, and some went so far as to tell him that "karma is a bitch" and that he should "pray to God not to suffer the same fate with another child".
Recently, he finally spoke about the statement that made the world hate him.
'I said something to the effect of, 'Find someone who looks at you the way my wife looks at me.' And then I said, 'But I love you. I am so grateful for my wife, she gave me a beautiful, healthy daughter.' And then a bunch of articles came out with the headlines: 'That's terrible. I can't believe that Chris Pratt would thank her for a healthy daughter when his first child was born prematurely. It's such a slap in the face to his ex-wife.' Then I realized how much it was remembered. My son will read it one day. He is nine years old. And that's set in digital stone. I'm really, really sorry. I cried because of it, ' he said in a big interview for Men's Health.
