The daughters of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis
The daughters of the famous actor couple, followed in their parents' footsteps, but their careers were hampered by the fight against alcohol.
Famous Hollywood actors, Demi Moore (59) and Bruce Willis (66), got married in 1987. Shortly after they said a fateful ‘yes’ they got their first daughter Rumer Willis (33), then Scout (30), and the last one was Tallulah (27).
The daughters of the famous couple were often exposed to cameras in their childhood, and in their adolescence, they started with vices. Their mother, Demi Moore, also had problems with alcohol and drugs, and her daughters once witnessed this. Alcohol soon became a problem for everyone, but some also struggled with other self-destructive substances and mental disorders.
On social media, sisters are trying to encourage others if they have a problem with alcohol. They claim that they are sober, now.
Demi Moore recalled a moment when she overdosed on substances at a party with her eldest daughter Rumer. “I was very frightened for Rumer when she saw me there half-conscious on the floor. She thought I was going to die in front of her "
After that incident, the daughters refused to communicate with the mother for three years.
"The best thing about this difficult journey as a family is that we have allowed ourselves much deeper communication on so many levels that we would probably never achieve," Rumer told the Addiction Talk Instagram podcast.
"We have never been better and because of that I am very grateful for everything," she said, adding that everyone understands each other and that is most important for them. Rumer had problems with drugs and alcohol and she celebrated five years since she was sober on New Year's Eve.
The middle daughter, Scout Willis, also celebrated her fifth-anniversary last year. Also, since she was sober.
By the way, the young actress is also a big supporter of body positivity and #freethenipple movements and often performs nude photos. For example, last spring she posted a photo on her Twitter profile where she was walking around the city without a T-shirt and bra. She wore only a skirt and shoes, and her breasts were completely exposed. In addition to acting, Scout also sings and three months ago she released a new video for the song 'Love Without Possesion'.
The youngest daughter, Tallulah Willis, also entered the world of drugs and struggled with the disorder of body dysmorphia. In this state, a person has a distorted perception of his body and is never satisfied with his appearance.
"I was punished for not looking like my mother, but I've been told all my life that I look like my dad's twin. I hated that resemblance because I thought my masculine face was the reason they didn't love me, " said Tallulah on Instagram, adding that it took her a long time to accept and love herself. The youngest sister has been sober for eight years, and last May she got engaged to director Dilon Buss.
