He was the most desirable man but now he barely speaks and his appearance is very sad!

Hollywood actor Val Kilmer has charmed women around the world with his roles as Jim Morrison in "The Doors", a macho pilot in "Top Gun" alongside Tom Cruise, Batman, and many other roles which earned him the title of most desirable man, but behind the camera, his wild nature and difficult character stood out which made it not easy to cooperate with him.

Many years have passed since the days of his greatest glory, his appearance and condition today are worrying, and his last appearance in public has saddened many. Namely, the Cannes Film Festival screened the documentary “Val” about his life over the last four decades in which he spoke candidly about private details and his career.

The 61-year-old actor has been battling throat cancer for some time, which he was diagnosed with in 2015, and because of which he can barely speak today. At first, Val hid his illness from the public and withdrew from the public.

How hard he speaks is confirmed by the fact that parts of the film had to be subtitled so that everyone could understand it. Many admitted after watching the film that it moved them to tears, especially the part where he talks about the tragedy and death of his brother Wesley, who died in the middle of an epileptic seizure that caused him to drown in a jacuzzi when he was only 15 years old.

"Our family has never been the same again. The grief was too great," Val admitted.

His acting career experienced a decline in the 2000s, over the last 20 years he has developed a passion for poetry and art, and he is fascinated by Mark Twain and has dedicated himself to faith that has helped him in the fight against illness.

After surgery, he underwent chemotherapy and radiation.

"I prayed and it was my way of healing. I always took what I do seriously and I understand that some people sometimes saw me as a difficult person. Life is a spiritual journey and my goal is to live in the moment," he said in the film.

Val's life was also marked by his marriage to actress Joanne Whalley, whom he met on the set of the movie "Willow". The couple married in 1988 and had two children, but they divorced in 1996 and are on good terms today.
