The first official trailer for the series about Ted is out!
The series "Ted" will arrive on streaming services in January 2024.
After a short teaser ten days ago, here is the first official trailer for the series about Ted! Peacock's series simply named "Ted " is a prequel to the popular films "Ted" and "Ted 2", which earned $549 million and $215 million respectively during their theatrical run. This takes us back in time to learn more about the unusual teddy bear who comes to life and his best friend, who attends high school with him.
The story is set in 1993 when Ted's ( Seth MacFarlane ) fame has passed and he is just a (living) teddy bear who lives in Framingham, Massachusetts, with his best friend, 16-year-old John ( Max Burkholder ), and his family - parents Matty and Susan ( Scott Grimes and Alanna Ubach ) and cousin Blaire ( Giorgia Whigham ). Ted may be a bad influence on John, but as we can see in the trailer, he is always his loyal friend and has his back.
In addition to lending his voice to Ted, MacFarlane is a screenwriter, director, and executive producer, and one of the showrunners alongside Paul Corrigan and Brad Walsh. Other roles include Ara Hollyday, Liz Richman, Jacob Zelonky, Dustin Wayne, Francesca Xuereb, and Erin Moore.
The "Ted" series, will arrive on Peacock on January 11, 2024 .
Recall that the comedy series "Ted" got the first teaser. Concrete details about the plot are not known, and in the teaser, we can see Ted writing/reading his letter in 1993 and 2023. The first episode that awaits us is supposedly supersized and it will probably last about an hour. All the other series in this season will last 30 minutes. The series received the green light back in June 2021, and due to the fact that it is a prequel, it is not expected that Wahlberg, Amanda Seyfried, and Mila Kunis reprise their roles from the films.
