GIGABYTE has announced the launch of its new AORUS 17X gaming laptop, which promises to be the brand's new flagship in terms of portability and high performance. These items are appealing not only to gamers but also to professional sectors that require high-performance technology, such as professional-level video editing.

The latest Intel Core-i9 HX processor powers the GIGABYTE AORUS 17X, which has 16 physical cores, eight of which are high-performance and eight of which are efficient, for a total of 24 threads. Because the Alder Lake-HX CPUs are aimed at premium laptops, they inherently offer excellent performance within their sector, and the equipment that integrates them is not inexpensive.

The laptop in question has, in addition to the Intel Core-i9 HX, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 graphics, a combination that should enhance performance by 32% over its predecessor. Obviously, more power necessitates better cooling, thus the GIGABYTE AORUS 17X includes the latest generation of WINDFORCE technology.

The built-in WINDFORCE cooling system, in particular, includes a pair of extremely effective fans, six heat pipes, and multiple heatsinks that should be able to evacuate heat produced by the processor and graphics card in order to keep the laptop cool. Even with strong workloads, ideal temperatures can be achieved, albeit this may be affected by factors such as ambient temperature.

The narrow bezels on all four sides of the GIGABYTE AORUS 17X allow the panel to take up 90 percent of the surface area and squeeze a 17-inch screen into a 15-inch chassis, allowing for downsizing, as well as increased portability

Previously, these gadgets were too heavy to carry, therefore they were classified as "portable equipment" rather than "portable." They didn't take up the entire trunk of the car, unlike a desktop computer, but it's not like you could tote them around for hours on long travels.

The laptop uses a 360Hz refresh rate display to provide the greatest gaming experience possible. It supports up to 64GB of DDR5 memory and up to 4TB of data storage through SSD via PCIe 4.0 at the memory level.
