Monica Lewinsky is an activist, fashion designer, and TV personality today, but she gained worldwide fame because of the affair she had with former US President Bill Clinton while working as an intern at the White House.

Lewinsky grew up in California, where she finished high school, after which she enrolled in the Drama Academy. She did a variety of jobs, and that part of her life was marked by an affair with drama professor Andy Bleiler. After five years, she ended the five-year affair with him and went to Oregon, where she completed psychology. In the summer of 1995, she had the opportunity to do an internship at the White House through family ties and moved to Washington, and she had no idea that she would soon become the subject of all the tabloids in the world.

Before the world of her affair with former President Clinton resonated with the world in 1998, Monica Lewinsky was transferred from the White House to the Pentagon because her superiors felt she was spending too much time with the president. She later admitted to having intercourse nine times with Clinton at the White House Oval Office. After their affair came to light, Bill Clinton denied everything he was charged with.

Lewinsky then fled to her mother to hide from the media there. She admitted everything later in court, and the judges offered her immunity if she told everything that happened between her and the president, because he had been accused of sexual harassment before. Because of the whole scandal, Monica Lewinsky became popular all over the world like a real pop star, and even today many remember what she looked like then.

After the scandal, she worked as a TV presenter, released a line of bags with her signature, and became an activist against online harassment. She has never completely withdrawn from the public, and even today she is a frequent guest at numerous events. She admitted that it was difficult for her to find a job because of the attention given to her by the media, and wherever she moved, they would always write about her.

Former US President Bill Clinton gave an interview in March last year in which he mentioned Lewinsky and pointed out that he was upset that everything was happening then. He said he was under a lot of pressure at the time.
