Motorola Frontier live for the first time with Samsung 200MP camera

The next Motorola Frontier features a big camera island on the back, complete with a massive cutout for a 200 MP primary sensor. The accompanying wording on the side indicates that it is a 200 MP HP1 sensor with OIS and an aperture of f / 2.2. The 200MP sensor, according to Samsung, can act as numerous other sensors thanks to a deep-learning demo algorithm.

The Samsung HP1 is capable of binning 2 x 2 pixels, resulting in a 50 MP resolution with an effective pixel size of 1.28 m. There is also a 4 x 4 binning option that uses 16 sensor pixels to form one huge pixel image with 12.5 MP resolution and 2.56 m pixels. It can capture up to 8K footage at 30 frames per second with as minimal field reduction as possible.

The Motorola Frontier is also said to have a curved 6.67-inch POLED display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a selfie camera with a resolution of 60 MP. In other news, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus chipset has been confirmed, along with 8/12 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of storage capacity.

Speculation implies a 4,500 mAh battery with 125W cable charging and wireless charging speeds ranging from 30W to 50W. The Motorola Frontier smartphone is expected to go on sale in July.
