Dakota, who is the daughter of acting couple Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson, also followed in her parents' footsteps herself. At the mention of 32-year-old Dakota Johnson, many still have the first association with her role as Anastasia in the '50 Shades' series, although she has since made numerous films.
As she arranged her work life, everything else fell into place and as for her private life, she has been happy with 44-year-old Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin, for four years now. Martin was previously married to actress and entrepreneur Gwyneth Paltrow with whom he has a daughter, 17-year-old daughter Apple, and 15-year-old son Moses. The couple remained great friends after the divorce. ‘He’s like a brother to me,’ Paltrow said of Martin in June. ‘He’s my family. I love him. I am so grateful to him for giving me these children,‘ she said.
Although they are reluctant to talk about their relationship, Dakota Johnson still made an exception when she gave an interview for the new edition of Elle magazine, whose cover she graces.
As the movie star discovered, they prefer to spend all their free time inside their four walls. 'We've been together for quite a long time and we go out here and there, but since we both have so much to do we enjoy being at home, where we have privacy. Most parties take place within our four walls,' revealed Dakota Johnson, who has been dating Chris Martin since October 2017.
Through the interview, she also revealed how she feels equally young and old. Although she's in her 30s, she explained: 'I feel like I'm 48, but also like I'm 26. A lot happened in my life, especially when I was younger, so I guess it makes me feel older.'
The couple shares a flat in one of the great mansions that runs along the Malibu coast, in California, so it is not surprising that Dakota and Chris prefer to stay at home. She also talked about how sometimes they invite their colleagues and friends over and have parties which can last up to the early hours of the next day.
For example, if tomorrow she has a 'party' to celebrate New Year, she would give her guests an anal plug from the Maud brand, in which she works as an investor and creative co-director.
"When I came to the company, I wondered if there was some kind of anal product because I know there are a lot of people who are curious about it and, you know, there are a lot of parts of the anus that are erogenous zones that I think could be fun to explore," she told InStyle.
" I'm going to put one in everyone's Christmas stocking. It's the perfect option. Do you think your uncle hasn't wanted to try an anal plug all his life? "
