Facial peels that you can make at home!

Glowing and soft facial skin is all we want. An excellent recipe for this is a homemade scrub that you can make yourself. Even if you haven't tried it before, it's simple and you can't go wrong. To make matters even better, the ingredients are easily available and cheap, and at the same time, they perfectly care for the skin. It is possible, in fact, that you already have all the ingredients at home.

But how do you know if it's time to exfoliate your face? Simply. Run your hand over your face and if you come across places where the skin is dry and flaky, you should exfoliate. Dry skin makes it difficult to absorb the rich creams, oils and serums you use in your routine. They cannot penetrate the skin well if dead skin is in their way. Most people find that 1-3 times a week is enough to exfoliate, but this changes with age, hormones and seasons.

It should be noted that you can't just start rubbing your face, you need to prepare it, especially for mechanical peeling. Clean your face first. Dry the skin completely and apply the scrub with your fingers and lightly moisten your hands. Apply the scrub to your face in circular motions and avoid the eye area.

Gentle oatmeal scrub

Oatmeal is known to have a soothing and anti-inflammatory effect, so it is an ideal choice for sensitive skin. Ground oatmeal gently cleans pores, while its natural saponins purify and absorb dirt and excess sebum. For this scrub, you will need half a cup of oatmeal and water. First, finely chop the oatmeal in a blender. Add water to it until it forms a paste. Gently massage it into your face and neck. Also, for chemical peeling, instead of water, you can add milk or yogurt that contains lactic acid. You can also add apple cider vinegar with malic acid for a brighter complexion.

Honey and brown sugar scrub

These two natural humectants are ideal for dry skin. Namely, they bind water to themselves. Brown sugar gently exfoliates, cleans your pores and locks in moisture. You only need one tablespoon of brown sugar, the finer the better, and one tablespoon of honey. Mix it together and gently apply the scrub on your face with clean fingertips in circular motions so that your skin is not damaged. Rinse with warm water and, if necessary, use a cloth to remove the remaining honey.

Coffee and oil face scrub

Ground coffee is mild enough that you can use it all over your body, even on sensitive areas like your face. It contains caffeine and antioxidants that tone the skin and bring it back to life. For this scrub, you will need one tablespoon of ground coffee and one tablespoon of oil (jojoba, olive or rosehip oil). You can literally use your morning coffee grounds for this, just add oil to it. Coffee peeling (with added essential oils) is also excellent for those areas of the body that are prone to cellulite.
