The past months have not been the most beautiful in the life of the British royal family. But the Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, does not forget romance. He gave his wife a nice surprise on Valentine's Day. Prince William and Duchess Kate are busy parents, but they made time to celebrate Valentine's Day.
On that day, William surprised Kate with a large box of 50 roses.
But it was not the only present Kate got on Valentine's Day. Their children congratulated their parents on the occasion.
By the way, the pair recently returned from a trip to South Wales, where they met as students in 2001. They said a fateful yes ten years later, and they are now the delighted parents of seven-year-old Prince George, four-year-old Princess Charlotte, and one-and-a-half-year-old Prince Louis. According to a royal family specialist, their love is still alive and well.
After eight years of courtship, Queen Elizabeth II's grandson and the Duchess of Cambridge married in April 2011.
William told in 2010 after the twosome got engaged, that they both have a very fun time together, both have a very good sense of humor about things. He added that they are down to earth. After more than a decade of marriage, the couple is less interested in "extravagant" Valentine's Day celebrations.
Last year was not the most beautiful in the British royal family's history: Prince Harry divulged numerous "dirty" facts about his loved ones in a series of interviews. Prince Andrew faced allegations of sexual assault on a teenager. Prince Philip, Elizabeth II's husband, died. She was hospitalized because of health difficulties… Throughout that period, Kate Middleton faithfully executed her royal responsibilities with a smile, and her husband. Prince William, appreciates it!
Because William and Kate are homebodies, their date nights tend to be chill.
They will watch Netflix and documentaries when the children are in bed.
While William can't stop admiring his wife's mothering abilities, he recently joked that he's not sure he wants to add a fourth kid to the family. When Kate clutched a newborn during a January visit to an English hospital, the prince joked to the nurses, "Don't give my wife any more ideas!"
