Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, better known by their joint nickname 'Bennifer', recently rekindled their relationship after 17 years, but judging by recent photos, their love has not been blossoming during the last couple of days.
And you may wonder why they broke up in the first place? The actor spoke on the Howard Stern Show and said an avalanche of negative media attention contributed to about 50 percent of their breakup. 'The idea that people hate you and hate that you're together is very ugly. It was all toxic,' Affleck revealed. And speaking about his initial reaction to the breakup, the 49-year-old said he was 'hurt and angry and felt like a fool'.
It was in 2004 when he broke off his engagement to J.Lo, and he did so because of Garner, whom he fell in love with on the set of a joint film. 'I should never have got engaged and gone down that road. I thought I'd want certain things, but I didn't. And then I got lost and felt miserable, disgusting, and like I was being suffocated when I was in a relationship with her. I was still at the center of media reports and it became so intense that I had to stop and I was thinking, 'What am I doing with my life?’” he told Britain's Now magazine in 2009 about his relationship with J.Lo at the time, and these days many are coming back to these statements again.
Although many doubt their renewed relationship, others think it happened for a reason, 17 years away and their few failed relationships in between, they apparently showed that they didn't get engaged for no reason all those years ago.
Lately, they often appear in public, and each time they look in love as teenagers. Whether their love is so great or they’re making a mini-show for those who follow them is hard to say, but we have to admit they look sincere.
Even after their reunion, the media attention hasn’t gone away, and recently Jen and Ben have started to look a bit agitated and unhappy.
They were recently seen leaving a hotel in Los Angeles, and from facial expressions, it can be said that they had a fight. Although the pair looked very stylish in beige coats, fans have noticed something is wrong. Ben had a miserable look on his face, while Jennifer walked past him with her head bowed.
