Ice Cube bails on $ 9 million role because he does not want to be vaccinated
American rapper Ice Cube has turned down a role in the film "Oh Hell No", worth nine million dollars, because he does not want to be vaccinated against coronavirus, writes the Hollywood Reporter.
The famous rapper joined the set in June, but after declining the producers' request to get vaccinated, he exited the project.
Ice Cube decided to leave the Sony project because he does not support vaccination. A spokesman for the company declined to comment on the rapper's decision.

Filming for "Oh Hell No" was originally scheduled to begin later this year. The search for an actor who will replace the rapper is underway, and it is not known whether the shooting will be delayed because of that.
Working in exceptional conditions has been hard for the movie industry in the past two years, but an agreement between the guilds and studios from June says that the studios have the right “to implement mandatory vaccination policies for casts and crew in Zone A” — where cast and crew work in close proximity — “on a production-by-production basis.”

Jack Black is also set to appear in the film, and it will be shot in Hawaii under the direction of Kitao Sakurai.
