Marilyn Manson has surrendered to police, and his lawyer claims: 'The allegations are ridiculous, everyone knows that'

Musician Marilyn Manson, 52, real name Brian Hugh Warner, surrendered to police after a warrant was issued for his arrest for assaulting a camerawoman, media reported. That incident happened in August 2019, and he was charged because spitting is considered ‘unauthorized physical contact’.

Manson surrendered to the Gilford Police Department but was not there for long. Namely, Police Chief Anthony Burpee said that the singer was questioned and released on bail for personal confession and other conditions, including that he had no contact with the alleged victim.

"We are pleased with Mr. Warner's decision to finally respond to the arrest warrant issued in 2019," Burpee said, adding that the court will set a trial date after New Hampshire authorities receive bail papers by mail from Los Angeles.

Manson's lawyer recently said that Manson's saliva accidentally fell on the camerawoman's arm, for which she demanded $ 35,000. He called the accusations ridiculous:

- Anyone who has ever attended a Marilyn Manson concert knows that he likes to be provocative on stage, especially in front of the camera - said the lawyer of the controversial musician who has been accused by many women of psychological and sexual abuse. The first to leave was his ex-fiancée, actress Evan Rachel Wood, with whom Manson had been in a relationship for three years, and they had been engaged for a year, and the star of the 'Game of Thrones' series Esmé Bianco accused him of an inappropriate relationship.
