Millie Bobby Brown: the highest fee in history
Millie's fee for the sequel Enola Holmes is expected to go down in history.
Netflix is reportedly ready to pay 18-year-old actress Millie Bobby Brown a whopping sum to reprise her role as Enola Holmes. Brown, made famous by the hit series "Stranger Things", first took on the role of detective Sherlock Holmes' sister in 2020.
Although she was paid a huge amount for her role as Eleven in the series "Stranger Things", her fee for the sequel Enola Holmes is expected to go down in history. According to the media, the actress should receive 10 million dollars for "Enola Holmes 2". If she is indeed paid that amount, it will be the highest figure ever paid to an actress or actor under the age of 20.
"Now detective Enola Holmes, like her infamous brother, takes on her first official case to find a missing girl, while sparks of a dangerous conspiracy ignite a mystery that requires the help of friends and Sherlock himself to unravel," reads the film's official synopsis.

In addition to Brown, who reprises her role as Enola Holmes, Henry Cavill and Sam Claflin also return as Enola's older brothers, Sherlock and Mycroft. According to IMDb, Helena Bonham Carter is also set to reprise her role as Enola's mother, Eudoria Holmes.
Millie’s path to a successful career at a very young age was perhaps too difficult and full of pressure. She had her first role at the age of nine, while at the age of 12 she shaved her head for the purpose of filming.
“I am only 17 years old, but in the end, I am learning to be a woman. I'm learning to be a young woman. And when you're very young, people watch you grow up, don't they? Somehow they become part of your upbringing. And they are not ready to accept the fact that you are becoming an adult” - she said last year.
Millie had to become an adult actress too soon, she did not have a childhood and she often encountered condemnation and bad comments precisely because of her age and the burden of fame she carries. “I wear a crop top, and people say: ‘She is only 10 years old’. I answer: ‘No, I am 17 years old’. I either wear heels or wear adult clothes at the awards ceremony, and there are comments: ‘She looks like she's 50 years old.’ No, I don't look like that, but you've been watching me since I was 10. That's why you think like that” - Millie pointed out.
