Director Woody Allen, who faced chaos in Hollywood after his adopted daughter accused him of sexual abuse, said on Tuesday that he will shoot a new movie in Paris this fall and that it could be his last. In a rare interview, Allen, 86, spoke with actor Alec Baldwin about his career and his new book, "Zero Gravity," a collection of humorous essays.
'A lot of the excitement is gone,' Allen said about the process of making the movies. 'When I used to make a movie, it would go to theaters all over the country. Now you make a movie and you get a couple of weeks in theaters, maybe six weeks or four weeks, and then it goes to streaming or pay-per-view ... I don't enjoy that. ' the director stated.

Allen did not provide details about his new film, which will be his 50th. The four-time Oscar-winning director of "Annie Hall" and other comedies has repeatedly denied allegations that he molested his adopted daughter Dylan Farrow in 1992. Many Hollywood celebrities distanced themselves from Allen after the #MeToo movement went global in 2017 and brought new attention to sexual misconduct. HBO revisited the allegations against Allen in the 2021 series "Allen vs. Farrow."
Recall, Woody Allen is a legendary director who is also quite eccentric. His films became classics because they portrayed unusual situations. In 1992, Woody became the perpetrator of one of the biggest moral scandals in Hollywood. He was in a long-term relationship with actress Mia Farrow when it was revealed that he was in love with 21-year-old Soon-Yi Previn. The whole world was shocked by this relationship because she was Mia’s adopted daughter. In addition, Allen's longtime partner has revealed nude photos of his mistress in Allen's apartment. The moral scandal ended with Allen severing ties with Faro, and his relationship with Soon-Yi survived. The couple married in 1997.
