They broke up due to his affair with Lauryn Goodman which resulted with the birth of their child. Lauryn Goodman is a starlet who became famous by appearing in reality shows and she found herself under the spotlight when, thanks to her affair with Kyle, the British public followed her on every step.

The mother of now two-year-old Cairo, whom she nicknamed 'MiracleBaby' from the first day, was shocked when she discovered that she was pregnant because she believed for years that she was infertile. Still, Kyle, who was married at the time, was initially not overly enthusiastic. To make matters better, Lauryn was one of the best friends of Kyle's then-unmarried wife Annie, whom he met when she was 16 and he was 18. He was with Annie in a relationship for years and they have three sons.
'When he told me he was going to have a baby with my best friend, my heart broke. I couldn't believe he risked losing his family because of it. My world collapsed at that moment,' Annie admitted.
By the way, it was not the first time that Kyle was unfaithful to her. Before the affair with Lauryn, he cheated on her with the star of the reality show 'Ex On The Beach', starlet Laura Brown. Although their problems started already then, the truth about the relationship with her best friend was a too big bite for Annie, which she neither wanted nor could swallow.
' Lauryn was a great friend of mine. She kept asking me how we were doing because she knew we were having a marital crisis after what happened with Laura. She told me that I could trust her with everything. Even then I was planning to leave him, but I just couldn't,' she revealed and added that he admitted the truth to her when they were on vacation together.
' Listen, I have to confess something to you,' he said. 'One girl is pregnant, and the child is mine.' After he revealed the truth to her, he never returned home but he moved to another apartment in the center without any explanation.

However, after some time, Kyle and Annie apparently managed to find a common language once again, so they reconciled again, although Kyle was distraught and hurt that Annie, while they were apart, had an affair with a younger boy.
Sources close to the famous football player claimed that her confession completely broke him and repeatedly commented that he could no longer trust her. He was afraid that she still had feelings for the boy she was with, but apparently, he somehow managed to overcome all his fears.
