A new look at the movie "Dune: Part Two" is out!

Shortly after the third trailer, Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures released a new look at "Dune: Part Two", the long-awaited sequel to Denis Villeneuve's 2021 adaptation. From now on they will regularly remind us of the film with different promotional materials, which is not surprising, considering that we are still 40 days away from the film. The film's duration has been officially confirmed as a total of 2 hours and 45 minutes, making it 10 minutes longer than the first part.

What can we expect?

In addition to stills from the film, the new video also reveals a behind-the-scenes look. The focus is mostly on Timothée Chalamet. The same situation is in the film frames and on the set while he is having fun and preparing between shots. Chalamet also explains that in the sequel, his character struggles with his destiny, and Zendaya adds that Paul will carry a lot of weight on his shoulders because of his new role.

The plot continues the journey of Paul Atreides, now united with the Fremen on Arrakis. A young man becomes the Messiah of a nomad on a desert planet that has giant worms that protect a very rare spice, which turns people into travelers, mystics, and madmen. What price will he pay to become the new ruler of their universe?

The script of the film is signed by Villeneuve together with Jon Spaihts. Executive producers are Spaihts, Josh Grode, Herbert W. Gains, Thomas Tull, Brian Herbert, Byron Merritt, and Kim Herbert.
In the main roles are Timothée Chalamet (Wonka), Zendaya (Spider-Man: No Way Home), Rebecca Ferguson (Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning), Josh Brolin (Avengers: End Game), Austin Butler (Elvis), Florence Pugh (Black Widow), Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy), Christopher Walken (The Deer Hunter), Léa Seydoux (Crimes of the Future), Souheila Yacoub (The Braves), Stellan Skarsgård (Avengers: Age of Ultron), Charlotte Rampling (Assassin’s Creed) and Javier Bardem (No Country for Old Men).

The film was supposed to hit theaters on November 3, 2023, but its release date was moved to March 1 due to the SAG-AFTRA strike.
