Millie Bobby Brown is the star of the upcoming movie "Damsel"!

Netflix finally revealed more details about the epic-fantasy film "Damsel". In this movie main role will be played by the young star Millie Bobby Brown. As part of Geeked Week on the popular streaming platform, new details were revealed about one of the most exciting projects announced for the upcoming year, which is expected to provide viewers with a spectacular visual experience.

"Damsel" stands out as an intriguing blend of fantasy and adventure, promising the audience an unforgettable journey through the world of mystical characters and dangers that surround the protagonist.

The main actress, best known to the audience from the series "Stranger Things", portrays the character of Elodie - a girl who is nervously awaiting her wedding with Prince Henry. The heroine is under pressure from her father who wants the money her marriage will bring, and in return, Elodie must become a "good and obedient wife". After the protagonist marries Henry, she realizes that she has been tricked and lured into becoming the victim of a cruel dragon who intends to eat her. Placed in a challenging situation, Elodie must fight the dragon if she wants to leave the cave and ultimately save herself. 

Unlike the expected narrative characteristic of fairy tales and epic stories, the heroine does not wait for a knight to save her but takes the initiative and responsibility for her own life (literally). According to the filmmakers, the heroine remained determined to be her savior and swore to take revenge.

The screenwriter is Dan Mazeau, who worked on the blockbuster "Wrath of the Titans", while the director is Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, the author of "28 Weeks Later" and "Intruders". The producers of the film are Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum, and the executive producers are Brown, Mazeau, Zack Roth, and Chris Castaldi . Some of the actresses and actors we can expect are Robin Wright ( House of Cards,  Beowulf ), Shohreh Aghdashloo ( The Expanse ), Nick Robinson ( Jurassic World, Love, Simon), Ray Winstone ( The Departed, Black Widow), Brooke Carter ( The Peripheral ), Mens-Sana Tamakloe ( Inception ), Sonya Nisa ( Red Rose ) and, finally, Rui M Tomas ( Lusitânia ).
