A year before she ended her life, Marilyn Monroe was hospitalized for depression and was approached by one of the most famous people of the time.
While suffering from severe depression and facing frequent health problems, one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood needed the support of a friend.
As she became increasingly ill, lost the will to live, and constantly felt exhausted, Hollywood diva Marilyn Monroe voluntarily went to a New York psychiatric hospital on February 11th.
It is little known that, while she was staying at this mental health institution, she received one very special letter: words of support sent to her by her colleague Marlon Brando.
Here is what he wrote her:
Dear Marilyn,
The best reassessments are born in the worst crises. To a certain extent, that happened to all of us. Be happy about it and don't be afraid of fear. He can only help.
Relax and enjoy it.
My thoughts are with you and I send you my warmest affection- Marlon.
