Scarlett Johansson, the star of Marvel's film about the superhero "Black Widow", sued Walt Disney Co., claiming that the company violated the contract when it released the film on a streaming platform at the same time as the film began airing in theaters and therefore lost $ 50 million earnings. But now Disney and Johansson have buried the hatchet and managed to settle out of court, Deadline writes.

"I'm happy to have solved everything with Disney. I'm incredibly proud of the work we've done together over the years and I've really enjoyed the creative relationship with the whole team. I'm looking forward to continuing our collaboration in the years to come," the actress said in a statement. and the whole situation was commented on by Alan Bergman, president of Disney Studios.

The terms of their deal have not been disclosed, however, Deadline quoted an unnamed source as saying a settlement of ‘more than $ 40 million had been reached.
