Britney Spears' mother requests over $ 650,000 for her legal fees
Lynn Spears, the mother of Britney Spears, is asking the singer's estate to pay $ 650,000 for attorney-related expenses due to her lawyers’ involvement in Britney’s conservatorship case.
The lawyers claim they helped Britney Spears become an independent and free woman. They also claim that they advocated for her father Jamie Spears to stop serving as her conservator.
"Lynne discussed joining the conservatorship as an interested party extensively with Britney and Britney enthusiastically agreed, and indeed asked her mother to join in the case in any capacity that would help to end her nightmare and the crisis she was enduring,” the documents said.

Lawyers' fees amounted to $ 840 thousand, but they stated that they were still ready to "agree to a 40 percent discount and ask for 504 thousand dollars". Other fees would go to law firm Ginzburg & Bronshteyn, which is seeking $ 146,548.
The costs of the lawyer's work will be discussed at a hearing scheduled for December 8, People magazine reports.
Recall, Britney blamed Lynne for establishing conservatorship which denied her control over her own life for 13 years. Her father Jamie Spears held the position of her conservator and controlled her privacy and financial affairs. However, the singer wrote that custody was actually Lynn’s idea. Britney also said that her mother "secretly" ruined her life, adding "You know exactly what you did…my dad is not smart enough to ever think of a conservatorship...but tonight I will smile knowing I have a new life ahead of me!"
