Ingredients:
- 200 g flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 100 g butter
- 50 g brown sugar
- 120 g white sugar
- 120 ml of milk
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 larger apple
Preparation:
- Grease a bread pan and sprinkle with flour. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
- Wash, peel and cut the apple into small pieces. In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar with the cinnamon.
- In another bowl, mix the softened butter with the white sugar and add one egg at a time and the vanilla extract. Pour in the milk. Mix flour with baking powder into the mixture and mix well with a wooden spoon.
- Pour half of the dough into a mold and arrange half of the apple and a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
- Pour in the rest of the dough and repeat the process with the apples and sugar.
- Bake for 40 to 50 minutes, then use a toothpick to check if the cake is baked.
- Cool well before cutting!
