Calvin Klein has a provocative but touching campaign celebrating the LGBTQIA + community
King Princess, Honey Dijon, and Arca are some of the main names of this year's #PROUDINMYCALVINS campaign, which is provocative, intimate, and very culturally defined. With 6 photographers and 8 carefully selected models, the Pride 21 campaign was shot around the world and shows very vivid, realistic, and sensual shots.
The idea is for Calvin Klein to continue to strengthen LGBTQIA + voices and in a passionate way. That's why the campaign begins with a powerful video that permeates the voices, emotions, and movements of the participants as they tell their stories.
They celebrate each individual who helped them shape, express, and define their sexual orientation, and overcome various challenges along the way, all dressed in a special interpretation of the classic Calvin Klein lingerie collection - of course, unisex and in non-standard sizes for women and men.
"For the first time in my life, someone really saw me, before I saw myself. She was another trans woman and she told me - you belong in a skirt. That's when I realized that I can actually exist the way I feel I am, " they say in their emotional confessions.
Enhancing support for the LGBTQIA + community, Calvin Klein is marking his second year of partnership with The Trevor, whose main goal is suicide prevention and providing crisis interventions for homosexual, bisexual, transgender, and queer people. As they point out on social networks, they will fight with all their strength for inclusion and tolerance, without giving space to hate speech and attacks on diversity.
