CPU: AMD confirms prices and dates
The wait is ended, as Santa Clara has confirmed that they will be available on the market soon. On the one hand, we now have a release date and price for the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D, a processor that AMD first showed us at the beginning of the year, the processor that represents a before and after for the technology's 3D V-Cache technology, and that integrates a whopping 100 megabytes of total cache memory.
And today, we finally know that its official release date is April 20 and that its price, as previously leaked, will be $449.
Regarding the other six processors confirmed by AMD, we see that the company has wanted to complete its offer within the Ryzen 7, 5, and 3 families, with new options that cover a wide spectrum, with integrated from the Ryzen 7 5700X, with 8 cores / 16 threads at 3.4 GHz-4.6 GHz and 36 megabytes of cache, which for $ 299 should be enough to beat the Intel Core i5-12600K, up to the AMD Ryzen 3 4100, which has four cores for eight threads, a frequency of up to four gigahertz, and 19 gigabytes of total cache, and is based on the Zen 2 architecture.

As can be seen, when studying its technical specs, AMD has increased its competitiveness against Intel's Core i3 and Core i5 families with the introduction of Alder Lake, which managed to reverse the pattern seen until recently, in which AMD was growing at the expense of Intel. This movement, however, is really a foreshadowing of what is to come with the next generation of both manufacturers.
This next group of AMD processors will hit the market even sooner than the Ryzen 7 5800X3D, with an April 4 release date.
