Did you watch the spin-off series "Gen V"?
Earlier, Prime Video announced the second season of the spin-off series The Boys, called "Gen V".
"The Boys" universe expanded with the highly anticipated spin-off series "Gen V". The series follows the students, who learn how to become "heroes". And we can see a glimpse of that, as well as the darker secrets lurking beneath the surface of this esteemed university, in the fresh trailer for "Gen V".
From the world of "The Boys" came "Gen V", which explores the training of the first generation of superheroes who knew about Compound V and that their powers were injected into them rather than given by God. These young, competitive heroes put their physical and moral limits to the test, competing for the wished top rank in school. They quickly realize that ambition comes with sacrifice, and the difference between right and wrong is not as clear as they once believed. When the university's dark secrets come to light, the students must come to grips with what kind of heroes they will become.
The focus of the story is Marie Moreau (Jaz Sinclair), who could become the first top-ranked freshman in history. She set her goals even higher than that because she wanted to become the first black woman in the Seven. Marie discovers that something is wrong at her new school. Or, as she eloquently puts it in the "Gen V" trailer, it's all "fuck**. And at that moment, we are quite sure that we are in the world of "The Boys". We see secret experiments and slaughtered bodies, and the very end of the trailer is very expected for this type of series.
The rest of the cast includes Chance Perdomo, Lizze Broadway, Shelley Conn, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Asa Germann, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sean Patrick Thomas, and Marco Pigossi. Also, some famous faces await us, such as A-Train (Jesse T. Usher), Ashley (Colby Minifie), Adam Bourke (P.J. Byrne), and Victoria Neuman (Claudia Doumit).
The series was developed for Prime Video by Craig Rosenberg, Michele Fazekas, and Tara Butters. The series' official premiere date was announced during San Diego Comic-Con. "Gen V" arrived on Prime Video on September 29, with as many as three episodes.
