Eminem’s (49) adopted daughter, Alaina Scott (28), posted on Instagram that she and her boyfriend are engaged.
- This moment, this life. Yes, yes, yes a hundred times. I LOVE YOU - she wrote in the post.
One of the photos shows her fiancé Matt Moeller kneeling during a rooftop proposal at The Monarch Club in Detroit, and another post shows Alain’s engagement ring. They seem very happy.
Earlier this year, the couple celebrated seven years of relationship when Alaina wrote in a post that her love has grown over the past seven years, and one thing has remained the same - that Matt is her favorite person.
Alain’s mother, Dawn, died on suspicion of a drug overdose in 2016, and the rapper has always been present in her daughter’s life. Also, Eminem is her biggest support.
Alaina Marie Scott was born in Michigan, United States, and is currently 28 years old. Her siblings are Hailie and Stevie Scott and her parents are Dawn Scott, Kimberly "Kim" Scott, and Marshall Mathers.
Alaina is Eminem's biological niece. Her mother, Dawn Scott, is the sister of the musician’s ex-wife Kim Mathers.
Eminem adopted Alain when she was still a child. He is also the biological father of 25-year-old Hallie Jade, whom he shares with Kim.
He also adopted Alaina's sister Whitney, who was born in 2002.
Speaking in 2004, Eminem said of his relationship with Alaina: "My niece has been a part of my life ever since she was born."
"I've always been there for Hailie, and my niece has been a part of my life since she was born. Kim and I raised her as if she were ours, she would live with us wherever we were" - he said on one occasion.
