Sitcom star "Mike & Molly," actress Katy Mixon, nearly worried many of her fans this week when the media flooded with her photos from the set of "The Thing About Pam" in New Orleans. The 40-year-old actress walked in with a huge cut on her arm, and she looked tired with an unusual wig.

Fortunately, it was immediately learned that Katy plays Elizabeth ‘Betsy’ Faria, a woman who was allegedly stabbed in 2011 by her friend Pam Hupp. Betsy had cancer at the time, and doctors told her she had only a few months left to live. Pam Hupp was sentenced to life in prison for manslaughter, but in court, she stated that she had nothing to do with the death of her friend. Still, prosecutors estimated that Pam killed Betsy just four days after she persuaded her to transfer her life insurance to her, and she wanted to blame her ex-husband Russell for everything.

A film about Pam's life is being made these days, starring the famous Renee Zellweger, and the photos from the set that have been leaked show that it will be a really interesting film.
