The first trailer for Season 2 of Netflix's series " Arcane" is out!

The good news is that Netflix has confirmed Arcane's second season is on its way and the even better news is that we now have a release date! If we had known earlier that "Arcane" would surely return to the small screen this year, then of course we would have written about it. However, this was confirmed today when Netflix released a first look at the second season, and along the way announced its arrival in November.

And this means that it will be three years since the first season hit Netflix in November 2021. That's not a long time to wait for a new season, but "Arcane" is a great series so we guess it won't hurt us to wait a bit more as long as it maintains its quality.

The first look is actually a very short teaser, but fans might recognize a silhouette that looks like Warwick in the teaser. The clip opens with painful chemistry experiments like those directly related to the character's origins in the extended source material on which "Arcane" is based. The creature has a strong thirst for blood, becoming an extremely dangerous threat to anyone who crosses its path. The teaser confirms the popular fan theory that Vander, the popular character who dies in the first season of "Arcane", is actually Warwick, the monster from LOL "transformed by excruciating experiments". Questions arise: How will Vi and Jinx react to finding out that their protector is now a monster? And will "Arcane" introduce a different Warwick? Either way, Warwick will play an important role in the upcoming season.

Although we don't know anything else about the plot of the second season beyond what the first teaser hinted at, it remains that the show's story is directly connected to the world of LOL, which means that the upcoming conflict will more or less stay in line with what fans know from the video game.

The creators of the series are Christian Linke and Alex Yee. Hailee Steinfeld, Ella Purnell, Katie Leung and Jason Spisak will lend their voices to the characters again in the new season.
