Great news for all R'n'B fans and nostalgics: Fugees reunite and embark on world tour

In 1996, the band Fugees released the album 'The Score', which also included unforgettable hits such as 'Killing Me Softly' and 'Ready Or Not'. The album won 2 Grammys the following year - for best rap album and best R&B performance by a duo or group. It was their second and final album, and now, after a long break, they will reunite to celebrate the 25th anniversary of that piece of music that has left a mark on generations.

After the breakup, the band members achieved successful solo careers and other projects, and in 2005 they briefly got together and recorded the single "Take It Easy". However, it is still unknown at this moment whether they intend to release new music.

Fugees have a complex but influential history. I wasn’t even aware that the 25th anniversary had come until someone reminded me. I decided to pay tribute to this important project, its anniversary, and fans who appreciate music, creating a peaceful platform where we can gather, play the music we loved, and set an example of reconciliation to the world, 'said Lauryn Hill.

The first performance of the reunion tour will take place today in New York at an unknown location, and the recorded performance will be included in the Global Citizen Live event on September 25, to fight global hunger and climate change. The American part of the tour with performances in 7 cities in the USA starts in November, and in Europe they will perform on December 4 in Paris and December 6 in London, followed by performances in Ghana and Nigeria.
