Exactly two days ago, Adele released a new single ‘Easy On Me’ that breaks audience records.
The first song from Adele’s comeback album, ‘30’, after a six-year hiatus, was posted on YouTube last Friday, and at the time of writing, it has been listened to more than 63 million times.
Adele has openly admitted to fans on Instagram live that the main theme of her new album is ‘ divorce baby, divorce ’. Adele’s divorce from ex-husband Simon Konecki was finalized in January this year. The theme of the new album does not differ much from Adele's other studio albums, so this one also deals with failed loves.
Recall, Adele and Simon began seeing each other in 2011 and were married on the eve of her 30th birthday. So her birthday celebration on the Titanic theme was actually a wedding. In April 2019, it became known about the divorce, but the singer admitted it much later. ‘We got married when I was 30 and then I left. I don’t want to reveal details but know that I’m ashamed. This is very embarrassing, 'she said at the time. Details of their marriage and relationship have never leaked to the public.
The introduction to the song that the whole world is buzzing about in the last days, came to Adele's mind in the shower back in 2018, which means that the relationship with Simon ended in a period of seven months.
'I left because I didn't feel well anymore. I didn’t want to end up like a lot of people I know. I wasn’t unhappy, but I felt bad because I didn’t put myself first. Nothing bad happened. We didn't get hurt. We teach women to keep trying from an early age. My heart was broken at the time, but now I find it interesting, how they taught us to suffer. I wanted my son to see that I love and that I am loved. Since then, I have been on the right path to finding my happiness', Adele spoke for the first time about her private life in a recent interview for British Vogue.
'I've been on dates before Rich, but I hated it. It was very stressful for my dates to be seen with me, and Rich didn't mind at all. He behaves cautiously and consistently enough that I don’t care who knows about us. He's wonderful, he's so fun, he's so smart ', said the singer about the new boyfriend Rich Paul.
