Jada finally spoke about the most popular slap!

American actress and talk show host Jada Pinkett Smith spoke openly for the first time on her show ‘Red Table Talk’ about the moment that marked this year’s Oscars when her husband Will Smith slapped Chris Rock. According to 'Variety', she previously commented on the situation with a 'meme'. 'This is the season for healing. And that's why I'm here. ' said Jada.

Jada decided to speak about the moment from this year's Oscar that was definitely the most talked-about in her episode which she dedicated to alopecia. If anyone somehow accidentally missed it, Will Smith slapped Chris Rock on stage during the Oscars because of a joke about the baldness of Jade Pinkett Smith. She shaved her hair on her own because she fights with alopecia.

‘I need to say that this is a really important‘ Red Table Talk ’about alopecia. After everything I went through with my health and everything that happened at the Oscars, thousands turned to me with their stories, ' said Jada in the introduction to her show.'I use this moment to give our family with alopecia a chance to talk about what it's like to have this condition and to inform people about what alopecia really is,' she added.

'As for Oscar night, I deeply hope that these two intelligent, capable men will have the opportunity to heal their wounds, talk about it and reconcile. Given today’s world situation, we need that. And we all actually need each other more than ever. Until then, Will and I will continue to do what we’ve been doing for the last 28 years, and that’s trying to figure out what’s called living together. Thank you for listening, ' she concluded.

Recall, the Academy suspended Will Smith for 10 years because of his violent behavior at the Oscars. Chris Rock, apart from briefly joking about it on his current stand-up tour, has not spoken publicly about the incident . Will Smith, on the other hand, resigned from the Academy even before the decision to suspend was made.
