Jennifer Lopez About Her Love With Ben Affleck
She stated on one show that she was concerned by the media's focus on their relationship, but she added that they are now more mature and think more critically about all of the circumstances in which they find themselves.
Jennifer Lopez, a singer and actress, and Ben Affleck, a Hollywood actor, have been dating since the early 2000s, from 2002 to 2004. Suddenly they got engaged and started planning their wedding, and when they announced their divorce.
After that, they started their lives, got married, had children, and now, 17 years later, they have renewed their relationship and are in love.
The singer decided to talk about their reconciliation on Ellen DeGeneres' show.
She said that she doesn't think anyone was more surprised than the two of them. She never thought that something like that could happen. She admitted that she is in love with Ben again.
She did reveal, though, that she was initially afraid of the connection since she felt that all of the media attention would be focused on them.
" We both realized that we were happy together and that we didn't want to let something like that ruin our relationship again," Jennifer added.
“We both were like, ‘Wow, we’re so happy and we don’t want any of that to come into play again.’ We’re older now, we’re smarter, we have more experience, we’re at different places in our lives, we have kids now, and we have to be very conscious of those things. We’re so protective because it is such a beautiful time for all of us,” the performer said.
She continued that she just feels happy and lucky by their relationship. She is happy and loving and wants to do everything she can to protect that and keep it safe.
Jennifer tells that is beautiful but it feels very different than it was years ago. There is more on appreciation and a celebration for it, which is nice. When you find somebody and you really, really love them and you get a second chance at that? That is a really rare, precious, beautiful thing we don't take for granted, said Jennifer.
“To see the person, the human being, the man that he is today, the father that he is today, the partner that he is — he is so everything I always knew he was and wanted to be.”
