Kate Middleton we haven't seen before!

We don't really see Kate Middleton (40) in spontaneous moments and sports releases, but this time she took an exception. Namely, the Duchess of Cambridge became the new chief of the Rugby League and Rugby Football Union and took over that role from Prince Harry who left the royal family and Great Britain. Kate met the rugby players at Twickenham Stadium during their training and showed what she is like in the sport.

She was in a tracksuit and sneakers, smiling all the time, and at one point the players lifted her into the air. This is certainly a different edition of the Duchess that delighted the public. Middleton recorded two videos with the rugby players, which were posted on the Instagram profile of her and her husband William, and she pointed out that she was very excited to get the new role.

"It is fantastic to meet the players, staff, and referees who represent the sport at the highest level. I even wore sneakers to give my senses a try on how teams train. I wish both teams good luck in the upcoming tournaments! ", she wrote below one video.

Kate became a patron of the Rugby League and Rugby Football Union a few days before the start of the Six Nations tournament. By the way, her husband, Prince William, has been a patron of the Welsh Rugby Union since 2016. This time she took the role and it seems that she did it fantastically.

Before Middleton, her brother-in-law, Prince Harry, who is a big fan of rugby, had the honor of patronage, and he took over this function from his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. After going with Meghan Markle to America where they are raising a son and daughter he couldn’t keep the role even though he wanted to. It was not possible if we look at the conditions. Kate is suitable for patronage because she loves sports and she followed rugby with her family before she got married, and she has practiced tennis since childhood.

Recall, Kate Middleton did not do well in the media at the beginning of her public relationship with Prince William. Kate was not used to media exposure and sometimes she did not know how to deal with the attention.

Kate and William met in college, and the first nickname she was given was  'Waity Katie'. That nickname referred to the fact that she was waiting for the prince to enroll for a year in order to attract his attention.
