Kim: "I don't think the show would have succeeded without my private video"
- It's something I have to learn to live with. Everything happens for a reason and I learned a lesson from that scandal - said the Kardashian
TV personality Kim Kardashian (40) pointed out that the success of the reality show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" would not have been so great if her private video had not been released in 2007, a few months before the start of the show.
Namely, the main actors in the video are Kim and her then-boyfriend Willie Ray J Norwood.
The famous sisters and their mother were guests of Andy Cohen and remembered the key moments during the many years of filming the show. In addition to believing that the show would not have been equally successful without the recording that "leaked" to the public, Kim also said that she would tell the children about that recording if they ever asked her.
"I don't think the show would have succeeded if it hadn't leaked to the public. It’s something I have to learn to live with. Everything happens for a reason and I learned a lesson from that scandal" - the Kardashian said, adding that she often wanted to erase the stupid things she had done in her life.
Kim and Ray J made the video to celebrate Kim's 22nd birthday, and it was released five years later.
Three years ago, in reality, she admitted that she was on drugs when she made an intimate home movie.
"The first time I got married I was on ecstasy. I took it once and got married. When I took it again, I filmed a sex tape. Everyone knows that. I mean, you can see my jaw shaking, ”she said.
Recall, Kim broke up with rapper Kanye West (44) with whom she was married since 2014. They married and had four children - two were born by Kim and two by a surrogate mother.
