New details about Prince Philip's close friends will soon be released: "They thought he slept with her."
Prince Philip was a close friend of many ladies, and some of them were interviewed by a royal biographer who will write about everything in his new book.
British Prince Philip had a wide circle of close friends with whom he hung out regularly, at least so claims royal biographer Robert Jobson who recounted everything in his new book "Prince Philip's Century: The Extraordinary Life of the Duke of Edinburgh".
One of the mentioned friends of Prince Philip told the writer that at one time they were so close, that the public also considered them sleeping together. Her name was not revealed by the biographer, but the British media immediately linked it to Penelope Knatchbull. Penny is 30 years younger than Philip, and she will be especially talked about after the new season of the "Crown" series is shown, where she will be played by actress Natascha McElhone.
For the purposes of the new book, Robert spoke with a number of friends of the late Prince, and in a recent interview, he also commented on Penny. "The queen has long accepted her husband's friendship with Penny, which proves how mature she was. She even invited her to her husband's funeral, which proves that she respected their friendship," the biographer said.
Penny is also close to the queen, but this was not particularly talked about in the media. It was Philip who introduced her to the leader of the British monarchy in 1975.
Although it has been speculated for years that Philip cheated on the Queen with some of his friends, there is no evidence that he was unfaithful to her.
"Have you ever thought that for the past 40 years I have been anywhere unaccompanied by security guards? So tell me that it would not have been found out," Prince Philip said in an interview.
